Rudy Degger is a former officer (1975-1995) and has been reconstructing traffic crashes for 40 years. As a sergeant, he supervised the traffic unit and commanded a specialized team of officers (IMPACT) that responded to fatal and/or major prosecution traffic accidents. Mr. Degger has been in private practice since 1992 and has been accepted as an expert in State and Federal Courts. He continues to teach a variety of P.O.S.T. crash reconstruction courses throughout California. He is the lead instructor at the West Coast Accident Reconstruction Education Center, having also taught at several local colleges, the University of California Riverside, and for the Northern California Law Enforcement Training Center in Contra Costa County. He is a founding member of CAARS (1998).
