Seatbelts, Pre-Tensioners, and Airbags: How they work and their effect on occupant safety - Southern California

Seat belts and airbags are ubiquitous in vehicles. This training illustrates how and why restraint systems reduce injury through hands-on activities, deployments, samples, lecture, demonstrations, problem solving, and case studies. After the training, attendees will better understand restraint system history, inner workings, and nuances in performance across a variety of circumstances (eg, pregnant occupants, out-of-position sitting, etc.).
