Swipe Right on Evidence - Integrating Digital Evidence and Accident Reconstruction

Presented by Matt Levan CFCE (Aperture LLC)

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the major sources of digital evidence that can support the reconstruction of traffic collisions. The session covers call detail records, mobile devices, vehicle infotainment systems, and camera‑based evidence, with a focus on how each source contributes to timeline analysis. Participants will learn practical methods to identify, preserve, acquire, and document this evidence in a forensically sound manner.

Students will learn to identify, preserve, acquire, analyze and report on digital evidence in conjunction with accident reconstruction:

❖ Call Detail Records

❖ Phones Android/IOS

❖ Video Sources – On Board/Cloud

❖ Vehicle Infotainment

Several Case studies will be reviewed as well.  Don't miss this up to date training on all things digital in reconstruction.

This full day training will be hosted in the City of Elk Grove in northern California

ACTAR CEU's pending.
